Jon Juaristi Linacero

Jon Juaristi Linacero, one of the conference’s keynote speakers, is Professor Emeritus at the University of Alcalá. A renowned writer, and recipient of the National Essay Prize (1998). He is a member of the Real Academia Española and the author of dozens of books of poetry and essays. His most recent book, co-authored with Juan Ignacio Alonso, is El canon español. El legado de la cultura española a la civilización (2022). At the conference, he will give a presentation titled “Lenguas vernáculas, lenguas autonómicas, lenguas propias: El fin de la utopía plurilingüe”.
